Ann Marie, nicknamed Ree, grew up in a house overlooking a country club. She was in the oil town of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Ann Marie’s father, William Dale Smith, an orthopedic surgeon and his mother, Gerre Schwert, are divorced. “Bill” Smith, as he is best known, later married his current wife, Patsy. Ree picked up Episcopalian. She graduated from the Pi Beta Women’s Fraternity for Women.

She lived there with two brothers, Doug and Mike, and a younger sister, Betsy.

Ree Drummond Personal Life

On September 21, 1996, Drummond married Dr. Ladd Drummond, a member of the fourth generation of a family of farmers in Osage County, whom she calls “Marlboro Man” in his books and on her blog.

They spent their honeymoon in Australia. They live on a livestock farm about eight miles west of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, with their four children: Alex, Paige, Bryce, and Todd.

Alex currently studies at the University of Texas A & M, while the Drummonds are training their youngest children at home. Ree Drummond net worth is enough for spending a good life.

At the end of 2016, Drummonds opened The Mercantile. A restaurant and a retail store in a centuries-old building in the center of Pawhuska that they bought and renovated in 2012.
